About Tabitha
Hey hey! Glad you found me!
Here are some fun facts:
I became a Mom in 2020 and I have a toddler. I still can’t believe it!
I can eat frozen yogurt or ice cream anytime of year, even when it’s 20 degrees outside. On the flip side, I can eat chili in the middle of the summer.
I used to wish I was left handed and I would *actually practice writing with my left hand as a kid. ha!
I drink hot coffee first thing in the morning. When 2 or 3:00 rolls around, it’s iced coffee time!
I am obsessed with stationery and notebooks. I have several notebooks that have been written in but none that are 100% filled.
Sushi is one of my favorite foods. Oh and tacos. My life would be incomplete without these two.
I have worked with infants, toddlers, and young children for several years through Early Intervention and behavior therapy and I think my experience has definitely helped me be a better mother and family photographer!
Peanut butter and chocolate anything is my jam!
I have a food blog and it’s called Tabitha Talks Food! Head on over there for easy to make recipes.
Photography has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. It was how my family documented us growing up when my Dad was in the military. We shared the photos when he was away, and now we have them to cherish.
As I got older I continued to appreciate the art and how it lends itself to storytelling. My Grandfather in California had six children and documented their lives pretty much from birth. There are stories, laughs, and emotions from looking through the photos from the last 60 years.
I am located in the Washington DC area and I specialize in lifestyle photography and include the details to tell the story. My goal during your session is not to get your whole family to say cheese and look stiff, but rather capture genuine connection. This can mean holding your baby close to you, tickling your youngest, or documenting singing and dancing to your favorite songs.
